Chimbel gram sabha on Feb 14

OLD GOA: The gram sabha of Chimbel will be convened on February 14, at 9.45 am in the panchayat hall.

Proposals to be discussed at the gram sabha should be submitted in writing latest by February 8, by 1 pm. Proposals received thereafter will not be considered, states a press release issued by the Sarpanch Manisha Chopdekar.

Theft at Anjuna hotelMAPUSA: Burglars stole cash of Rs 1.10 lakh from a hotel room in Anjuna on Friday. According to the complainant Ashutosh Gupta of Delhi, some persons gained entry into his room between 1 am and 7 am when he was fast asleep and made good their escape with a bag containing cash of Rs 1.10 lakh. Anjuna PSI Subhash Gaonkar is investigating the case.
