BJP unveils final 30 for CCP polls

Panaji First panel supported by the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday announced its secondrnlist comprising nine candidates, thereby completing its 30-member panel for thernupcoming polls to Corporation of City of Panaji to be held on March 6.

The second list includes names of Linda Pereira for ward 3, Vaidehi Naik for ward 12, Laxman Kahrde for ward 18, Rekha Kande for ward 20, Pundalik Raut Desai for ward 21, Rupha Vadkar for ward 23, Diksha Mainkar for ward 24, Yulette Coutinho for ward 26 and Rupesh Halarnkar for ward 30. Previously declared 21 candidates include Gurudas
Pereira ward 1, Nelson Cabral ward 2, Kishore Sastry ward 4, Sheetal Naik ward 5, Vinali
Naik ward 6, Rama Naik ward 7, Manisha Jware ward 8, Shantaram Naik ward 9, Gaurish Dhond ward 10, Bharti Heble ward 11, Vishnu Naik ward 13, Surraiya Naik ward
14, Shekhar Degvekar ward 15, Pramay Mainkar ward 16, Babita Naik ward 17, Menino
da Cruz ward 19, Maya Talkar ward 22, Vasant Agshikar ward 25, Shubbham Chodankar ward 27, Suresh Chopdekar ward 28 and Arti Halarnkar ward 29.
Of these 30 candidates,
eight are sitting corporators.
