Joaquim Clive Estibeiro declared elected unopposed as the new Curtorim Sarpanch.

Joaquim Clive Estibeiro is the new Sarpanch of the village Panchayat of Curtorim.
In the elections held on Monday to fill up the vacant post, Estibeiro’s candidature was declared elected unopposed since the Presiding officer received his lone nomination papers.
The election was necessitated following the resignation of outgoing Sarpanch Alcinho Da Silva.
After his election, Estibeiro unveiled plans to tackle the garbage problem facing the village by taking all the members into confidence. “I will take all the Panchayat members together to resolve the issues facing the village. We will all join hands to address the garbage problem. The MRF project will be followed up with the authorities to resolve the issue of garbage “, he said.
