Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday promised that his government would take up the upgradation of the Curtorim Primary Health Centre in the near future.
The Chief Minister handed out the assurance during his inspection of the Curtorim PHC with village Sarpanch Rui Menezes, Deputy Sarpanch Simon Barretto, Curtorim Zilla Panchayat member Moreno Rebello and others.
The Chief Minister went round the PHC following complaints that the health centre has been a neglected lot over the years, denying basic medical and health facilities to the local populace.
After interacting with the PHC officials, the Chief Minister assured that the Curtorim PHC will be upgraded to meet the health and medical requirements of the people of Curtorim and neighbouring areas.
