PANAJI: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has extended greetings to Goans on the occasion of Opinion Poll Day.
In his message, Parrikar has stated that it was due to the day of the Opinion Poll that the tiny State of Goa could achieve statehood, years later.
“Thanks to our leaders, who were decisive and far-sighted; it is due to their hard work and perseverance, we could retain our unique identity”, he said.
“On this day, let us vow to keep our individuality, serenity and peace alive. Let us come together and make Goa more beautiful and serene”, said Parrikar.
