Compering workshop at Bhuinpal

VALPOI: The Samrat Club at Valpoi will organise a workshop for comperes at Bhuinpal-Sattari on January 17, at 9.30 am.

Headmaster of Government High School Nagargao, Shrikrishna Naik, will inaugurate the workshop. Udai Raikar will be the chief guest for the formal function, while Adv Yeshwant Gawas will be the special invitee. Dr Ajay Vaidh and Prof Govind Bhagat have been invited as resource persons, stated Samrat Club (Valpoi) president Nanda Majeek.

Embassy officials inspect site of American's deathPERNEM: Pernem Police and officials of the American Embassy on Friday conducted an inspection of the site, where the American tourist, Caitania Holt (30), died after being assaulted multiple times in Pernem on Tuesday evening.
