The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday attacked the Congress for its silence on the Mhadei issue and has questioned the intentions of the party.
AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre said the way new Congress incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao who was in Goa dodged media on Mhadei issue raises serious doubts on Congress’s attitude towards Goan issues.
“First Prakash Javdekar dodged media on Mhadei and now Congress desk incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao did the same. We would like to tell people of Goa that newly appointed Goa Congress in charge Dinesh Gundu Rao who was seen supporting Karnataka farmers in Mhadei water issue in news article published on Oct 20, November 2019. It is apparent that both Congress and BJP is using Goa for their national level politics and in bargain Goa and Goans are suffering. Both Congress and BJP have sacrificed Goans for their larger ‘objectives’, Mhambre said.
