Consultation on edu policy
PANAJI: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is in process of formulating a new education policy (NEP) through an inclusive and participatory approach. NCPCR, with assistance of SCPCRs, is organizing one-day regional consultation at Goa. The recommendations, from various stakeholders will shape the national policy on education.
The consultation will review the child-related policies and provide recommendation for their effective implementation. The aim of the consultations is to bring different stakeholders working in the field of education and child rights, to share experiences; deliberate on contemporary issues in school education and on ways to address these challenges through the NEP.
Priyank Kanoongo, NCPCR, Virendra Kumar, Education, Dr Sushma P Kirtani, SCPCR along with members met Chief Minister to invite him to be the chief guest for the said consultation.
Stuti Kacker, chairperson, NCPCR, members and stakeholder from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa will attend.
