Couple assaulted at Calangute
MAPUSA: A couple from Calangute was injured after a man assaulted them near Porbowado-Calangute.
According to Calangute Police, Anita Dessai complained that the accused assaulted her and her husband Sanjay with a weapon like a knife on their stomach, causing them injuries.
The accused also threatened to kill her husband and with dire consequences. Calangute Police is investigating the case.
