COVID KILLS 4 IN PERNEM FAMILY WITHIN 12 DAYS

Covid destroyed a family in Pernem after four members of the family succumbed to the disease within a gap of barely 12 days.

According to reports, the mother of Dr Dattaprasad Sinai Desai passed away 12 days ago and on the 12th day of her mourning on Wednesday, Dr Dattaprasad’s father, Surendra, breathed his last in the morning, followed by Dr Dattaprasad and his uncle, Narhari Sinai Desai, later in the day.

Dr Dattaprasad was a homoeopathic practitioner and had his clinic in Pernem, Mapusa and Panaji. All three family members who died on Wednesday were undergoing treatment for Covid in a private hospital.

Dr Dattaprasad Sinai Desai is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
