After a crocodile was spotted on the road on early Thursday morning, the Cavelossim village Panchayat has put up a banner cautioning people since school children take the road to go to school.
Cavelossim Sarpanch Dixon Vaz informed that the village Panchayat Cavelossim have put up a banner in the village where the crocodile was spotted by a villager early Morning.
“I received a call from a villager early morning informing that while he was driving in his car, he spotted a medium size crocodile crossing the road. The villager immediately stopped his car and took reverse to make way for the crocodile to enter the rivulet”, he said.
As a precautionary measure, Dixon said the Panchayat have put up a banner at the spot and also advised the school management to be cautious since school children walk on the road daily.
