Cumbharjua, Corjuem bridges to remain closed

PANAJI: The District Magistrate, North has ordered the closure of Cumbharjua Bridge at Cumbharjua for all types of vehicular traffic between May 19 to May 22 for the purpose of RCC pile foundation-execution of static load test.

Similarly, the District Magistrate, North has ordered the closure of Corjuem Cable Bridge at Aldona for all types of vehicular traffic between 7 am and 8 pm on May 22 for the purpose of maintenance and painting of the bridge.

TAG to remember tiatr artistes

PANAJI Tiatr Academy of Goa organises a monthly special programme, ‘Somplolea Tiatristancho Ugddas’ to remember late tiatr artistes. The artistes born in the month of May are: Ermelin Cardoz, Cruz Jazzwala, Mussolini Vales de Menezes, Santiago Pereira, Kamat de Assolna, Barnabe Saluzinho D’Costa, and Rio Rosa. This month’s programme will be held on May 24 at 4.30 pm at the Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
