"He only does inspections and nothing else. If he has done any development then let him spell out,” Naik said.

“But now, the Housing Board has provided a provisional NOC which is subject to TCP granting them permission for sub-division of their property,” Korgaonkar added.
The panchayat authorities also informed that they have already complained with the Agassaim police station against the Revolutionary Goans members for creating ruckus at the gram sabha.

Sarpanch, deputy deny allegations
OLD GOA: Reacting to the complaint lodged by Revolutionary Goans’ panch Deepali Kankonkar that the relatives of Curca Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch are interfering in panchayat affairs, both sarpanch and her deputy denied the allegations.
Speaking to reporters, Curca Sarpanch Sadhana Gonsalves said her brother-in-law sometimes drops her at the panchayat office or at the inspection sites as she does not know to drive.
“He never interferes in the functioning of the panchayat, as alleged by the panch,” Gonsalves said.
Deputy Sarpanch Leena Naik also said her brother, Siddhesh Naik, as well as sarpanch’s brother-in-law, Marvin Gonsalves, have been panchas before, and people come to them for their works.
“This is the reason why they come to the panchayat to get the works done of the people and not to interfere in the panchayat affairs,” Naik stated.
