Curtorim Carnival float parade on Feb 9

With Rui Menezes as its 'King of Festivities' at the Festival of Curtorkars which is into its Xth anniversary celebrations, the main Carnival float parade organised by the Curtorim Cultural Committee (CCC) has been scheduled on February 9, at 3 pm.
Addressing a press conference, Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco said the parade will leave from Maina Church ground to Curtorim market square on Fernruary 9.
Reginaldo said the CCC has lined up a host of events, competitions and performances on February 7, 8 and 9, which includes drawing, Voice of Curtorim (senior and junior), dancing stars of Curtorim (senior and junior), fancy dress (senior and junior). “The talent search competitions are supported by the department of Art and Culture with financial assistance,” he informed.
