The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came back to haunt PWD and Transport Minister Ramakrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar, this time producing marksheets to show that Dhavalikar has in fact failed in his BSc examination.
While Dhavalikar in his defence produced a certificate for the year 1978, which stated that he had “passed a BSc Subsidiary exam” the AAP produced two marksheets proving that Dhavalikar failed in Chemistry both in April as well as in October 1979.
The party even produced a list of those who passed BSc from Chowgule College for the years 1978 till 1980 and Dhavalikar’s name does not figure in any of the lists issued by the College.
The news comes a day after the Delhi Court sent former AAP Minister Jitender Tomar to Tihar jail in his fake degree case.
Taking the battle to Dhavalikar, AAP’s Valmiki Naik questioned that if Dhavalikar had passed his exam in 1978 as he claimed by releasing his degree, why did he continue to attempt the exams in 1979.
“If Dhavalikar claims to have a “BSc (subsidiary) degree” from University of Bombay in 1978, why was he still appearing for BSc examinations in the year 1979? Why does his name not appear in the information provided by Chowgule College?” AAP’s ad-hoc secretary Valmiki Naik questioned.
The AAP renewed their charges that Dhavalikar falsely swore on his affidavit that he passed in 1980 and further that he produced a certificate dated 1978.

Dhavalikar had earlier while speaking to the press insisted that he passed his BSc degree and even claimed that he was an active participant in sports representing his college.
His party colleague, Lavu Mamledar also vouched for the fact that Dhavalikar went through college along with him and had passed his BSc degree.
The AAP in Goa first wrote to Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar alleging that the third senior minister Sudin Dhavalikar hadn’t passed his Bachelor in Science as he had claimed in his sworn affidavit before the Election Commissioner.
They challenged Dhavalikar to produce his degree which led Dhavalikar to produce a certificate saying that he passed his BSc subsidiary exam, an argument which the AAP didn’t buy. Dhavalikar wasn’t available for a fresh comment after the recent charges.
