PANAJI
A Doctorate (Honoris Causa) in Literature and Law by ASBM University was conferred on Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai at the third annual convocation ceremony held at Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The degree was conferred on the Goa Governor for his outstanding contribution in the field of literature, law, and public service.
Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind presented the prestigious degree to the Governor Pillai in the presence of Prof Biswajeet Pattanayak, the President of ASBM University.
First Lady of Goa K Rita Pillai also graced the occassion.
