Donations made to city institute
PANAJI: Open Destinations, an independent provider of tour operator software to travel businesses in over 30 countries, executed a Christmas donation drive for the Don Bosco Institution at Panaji as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The drive was coordinated with Fr Avin Carvalho, principal of Don Bosco High School, Panaji.
As part of the initiative the employees of Open Destinations were encouraged to donate clothes and other amenities between December 22 and 31. These were then handed over to Fr Carvalho to be distributed to the needy,” stated Asst BPO manager Ashley Rodrigues.
“Open Destinations considered the Don Bosco institution as it provides learning and development facilities to innumerable youth that are less fortunate owing to economic and financial backwardness," Rodrigues added.
Open Destinations is head-quartered in London and has a development, support and outsourcing centre in Miramar-Panaji.
