With the monsoon season gaining momentum resulting in the flow of domestic tourist to the picturesque Cavelossim-Mobor beach stretch, the village Panchayat of Cavelossim have adopted
precautionary measures by closing the way toward the beach.
Sarpanch Dixon Vaz informed that the Panchayat has put up the warning sign board, prohibiting people from taking their vehicles on the beach.
“We have been doing this exercise every year to ensure that people do not take their vehicles on the beach specially the domestic tourists who tende to violating the rules”, Dixon said.
He added: “We have been always proactive to take measures so that vehicles do not make their way on the beach. Our beaches are very beautiful and we want people to enjoy the peace and tranquillity, since monsoon is an excellent time to visit our beaches”, the Sarpanch added.
