PANAJI

Former bureaucrat Subhash Chandra, IAS, was on Wednesday issued a notice by CCP Commissioner Clen Madeira to show cause why the compound wall built on his property at Ribandar should not be demolished for alleged deviation from the approved plans.

Madeira, in the notice, has claimed that during an inspection of the site at Fondvem-Ribandar on June 30, officials found deviations from the approved plans and some construction work also did not have the necessary CCP licences.

Chandra has been asked to reply and clarify the matter within seven days of receiving the letter and has been warned that action as per law will follow for failure to reply.
