Sharply criticising the interim court restraining the functioning of the United Tribal Associations Alliance (UTAA), former Minister and BJP MLA Govind Gaude said that any attempt to silence the voice of the Bahujan Samaj would invite serious consequences. “If there is a deliberate effort to suppress the Bahujan Samaj, those responsible will have to face the fallout,” Gaude cautioned.
Challenging the legal move, Gaude threw down a gauntlet to authorities, stating, “Bring the Registrar to the temple”UTAA members will be there too. Once again, I say”take a morcha to Prakash Velip’s residence. This is my challenge.”
Urging the tribal community to remain resolute, he added, “We must not live like slaves. It’s time to uphold our dignity and self-respect.”
His remarks come amid intensifying internal strife within UTAA and follow recent legal proceedings concerning its leadership and financial control.
