Fadanavis meets Shripad in GMC; Dean says likely to be discharged in a week

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis on Sunday visited Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. Fadanavis arrived in Goa to attend the executive committee meeting of the BJP.

Meanwhile, Dean of GMC Dr S M Bandekar  has stated that Naik’s condition has improved greatly since January 11, when he was admitted following a horrific vehicular accident. Dr Bandekar has said that Naik is likely to be discharged within a week if the doctors are satisfied with his improvement. 

Naik, who was unable to attend the ongoing session of Parliament, has been handling the files and responsibilities of the AYUSH ministry from his hospital bed. “I hope to return to work very soon,” he said.
