Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Goa on Sunday and was welcomed by CM Dr Pramod Sawant, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho and others upon his arrival at Dabolim Airport.
Shah landed at Dabolim around 1 pm in a special flight along with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
A strong police force was present around the airport and along the roads for the security of the VIPs. Shah along with Fadnavis inaugurated the SSPM Medical College at Kudal, in Sindhudurg, founded by a trust chaired by the former chief minister and BJP leader Narayan Rane on Sunday and later arrived in Goa.
Shah also had plans of meeting MP Shripad Naik and have a series of meeting with BJP leaders in the State.
