Fancy dress, dance contests held at Taleigao

On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Om Shiv Mandir Shivnagar, Oitiyant, Taliegao on December 17, the executive committee conducted the fancy dress competition and Taliegao constituency-level dance competition (solo & group) on December 18.
The fancy dress contest in the 1-9 years age group was won by Saisha Gaonkar. The second place went to Shristi Talwar and Suraj Kunkolkar won the third. The dance contest in the same age group was won by Leena Thappa (first) & Sanaya Kotnala (second). The sarpanch of Taleigao Janu Rosario was the chief guest. President of the committee Chandrakant Kunkolkar, vice president Sunharilal Khushwah were also present. Deepak and Chandrakant Kunkolkar compered the contest.
In the solo dance contest for participants in the age group of 10-15 yrs Akash Shirodkar won the first place, Kajal Tak the second and Seema Thakur came in third.
In the group dance contest Dance Dreamers won the contest followed by Two Star Boys and Royal Dance Warriors Boys in the second and third places respectively.The judges for the dance contest were Swapnil and Sangeeta Naik who also gave away the prizes.
