FC Goa to participate in Carnival

FC Goa has signed on as associate sponsors of the Samba Square for Goa Carnaval-2016. As part of the celebrations, FC Goa will be displaying a themed float for the parade. The theme will highlight FC Goa’s efforts in various levels of the community. The float will be surrounded by players of FC Goa’s elite grassroots programme who have been training with the club for over a year.
The club has consulted two prominent fan clubs to create a vibrant atmosphere aboard the float and will see the presence of fans. The club mascot Gaurdinho will also be in attendance. Romeo Fernandes and Mandar Rao Dessai and other stars of FC Goa’s 2015 ISL campaign will also make their presence aboard the float.
In the Samba Square, FC Goa will also loom large with various facilities being provided for the younger supporters of the club to engage in. The club is also keen to recognise the efforts of the fans and has set up a platform to display FC Goa decorated cars in a prominent location within the square.
