Anjuna Church Parish Priest Fr Santiago Fernandes on Saturday called on the Catholic faithful to experience miracles in their day-to-day lives.
Fr Fernandes was delivering his homily during the Feast Mass of the Miraculous Holy Sta Cruz De Vall Cross at his native village of Agonda.
“As a child, I grew up visiting this Holy Cross and praying vehemently, as did all our villagers to seek favours and pay their gratitude. Believe in Jesus, walk in His steps and each one of you will witness miracles daily in your lives,” said Fr Fernandes.
Agonda Church Parish Priest Fr Patrick Luis, Assistant Priest Fr Darrel Fernandes and Deacon Neville Fernandes were concelebrants at the Feast Mass held at the Holy Cross premises outside the picturesque Agonda beach.
While the entire Agonda Parish celebrated the annual feast, the liturgical arrangements were made by Karashir-Moll B Ward and hundreds of devotees from in and around Agonda attended the Feast Mass.
