Film festival at Ponda from today
PONDA: The Shantadurga Vijayate Kala Mandal in collaboration with the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) will host a five-day outdoor film festival at the football ground at Kuncoliem in Ponda taluka from May 25.
The film festival will screen five Konkani films from 7.30 pm. The NK Entertainment, outdoor cinema projection agency in Goa is the screening partner.
ESG vice-chairman Damodar Naik will inaugurate the festival on May 25, at 7.30 pm. Local MLA Deepak Dhavalikar will be the guest of honour. Popular film and theater actor Rajdeep Naik and John D’Silva will also be present. After the inauguration film, ‘Home Sweet Home’ will be screened.
On May 26, film Jagor;‘on May 27, Gunaji; on May 28, Mortoo and on May 29, Home Sweet Home 2 will be screened.
