In a Bollywood filmy style, a host of motorcycle riders were in hot pursuit of a car in the commercial capital which was allegedly involved in a hit and run case at Utorda.
The incident occurred on Monday evening when people came across a car traveling at a great speed on the Comba ring road only to be followed by around half a dozen motorcycle riders.
The car zoomed on the ring road after taking a turn near the Kitty corner entered the busy city road.
A couple of women who were walking on the narrow ring road-Kitty corner stretch had a miraculous escape.
Those in hot pursuit of the car informed that the vehicle is involved in an accident at Cansaulim. When contacted, the Verna police informed they are on the look out for the vehicle and the driver.
The police said the vehicle was involved in an accident at Utorda and while speeding away was involved in another accident at Colva. The police is investigating.
Meanwhile, the Maina Curtorim Police has arrested two persons who were allegedly involved in racing at Nuvem. The police action came after the racing video went viral.
