Fire at carpentry unit in Canacona

A fire broke out at a carpentry unit in Chaudi-Canacona on Tuesday evening.
The Canacona Fire Services received regarding a fire at a closed carpentry unit behind Omkar building in Chaudi at about 5 pm.
Two fire tenders managed to reach the site through a narrow road and extinguished the fire.
The fire is believed to have started due to a short circuit in the overhead electricity wires.
