Considering the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the State, the Goa University informed that semester end examinations for the Post Graduate programmes in affiliated colleges will be held offline while the examinations for all other programmes will be conducted in online mode.
“The modes of conduct of the examinations have been decided taking into consideration the infrastructure available in the various affiliated colleges for maintenance of social distancing and adherence to the prevention of Covid-19 norms,” according to press release from the Goa University.
The Goa University has issued revised circulars for various academic programmes with regard to the mode of conduct of the examinations scheduled from January 10, 2022 onwards.
The university said it has endeavoured to uphold the highest possible academic standards of the university degrees in the current pandemic situation.
It said the semester end examinations for the Post Graduate programmes in the affiliated colleges of general education shall be held in offline mode to maintain parity with the Post Graduate programmes on the university campus where examinations are being conducted in offline mode.
It also said that the examinations for all other programmes mentioned in the circulars shall be conducted in online mode except in the case of the final year examinations, which shall be conducted in offline mode.
