Caper Travels on Thursday early morning brought in the first set of international tourists from Kyrgyzstan, who are coming for the first time to Goa.
The move has brought in yet another country whose citizens will celebrate the New Year in Goa further boosting the tourism season in the State.
The tourists who arrived from Kyrgyzstan at Dabolim Airport were welcomed with roses amidst a traditional brass band playing local Goan music. The tourists were found grooving to the music and even taking selfies.
Caper Travels, bringing in the first Charter flight into Goa from Kyrgyzstan had also made necessary arrangements for Reps for convenience of translation and also arranged coaches that would take the first lot of incoming tourists to different locations in Goa.
Speaking to the media, Amar Dhumatkar of Caper Travels said that the first flight has arrived with 185 passengers.
"This is the first flight and the flight was at full capacity. We will have these flights for the entire month. These tourists are coming for the first time and if they start liking Goa on their maiden visit, we will have these flights coming till March," said Dhumatkar.
