The "Formalin-fish" issue continued to haunt the second-day session of the State Legislative Assembly with the opposition leaders demanding a thorough discussion on the issue and not allowing any other proceedings in the house.
The day two of the State Legislative Assembly witnessed demands by the Congress for an adjournment motion to discuss the 'formalin fish' issue. Though the Speaker Pramod Sawant said that this issue will be addressed on Monday, the opposition continued their demands leading to chaos and disruption.
Post-lunch, the situation showed no improvement, with the opposition standing firm over the issue and the day two of the State Legislative Assembly being adjourned for the second time with no question hour, business or proceedings discussed.
