Four held with drugs at Thivim Railway Station — Konkan railway police station officials with the accused persons from Kerala.

The Konkan railway police station on Wednesday arrested four persons, all natives of Kerala after they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics drugs.

They were all apprehended at the Thivim railway station on Wednesday morning.

Their names were provided as Mohammed Aslam T, 26 yrs, r/o Tirur, Malappuram, Kerala, Nadirsha KA, 24 yrs, r/o Thottappu, Madu, Thrissur, Kerala, Shafi V H, 27 yrs, Kadappuram, Thrissur, Kerala and Mohammed Unais P, 28 yrs, r/o Moonniyur South, Melappuram, Kerala.

They were allegedly found in possession of Narcotics Drugs, including MDMA weighing 6.5 grams, valued Rs 39,000, Charas weighing 20 grams valued Rs. 5,000 and ganja weighing 6 grams worth Rs. 600.

All have been arrested u/s 22(b), 20(b) (ii) (A) of NDPS Act, informed investigation Officer PI Hiru Kavlekar.
