The Brahma Prakash Charak Ayurveda Institute, Delhi, treating Covid patients with 99% success rate has made available Ayu Raksha kits for patients in home isolation. The kit has been made available in the state by Goa Ayurvedic Medical Association (GAMA) through the practitioners of Ayurveda.
Dr Vidula Gujjarwar from the Brahma Prakash Charak Ayurveda Institute has informed that this Ayu Raksha kit contains Ayurvedic medicines which are chosen specifically to work on symptoms of infected patients. She claims that according to studies done on the patients who were administered this kit it was found that the medicines in the help to arrest the infection travel down to the lungs and thus prevent further complications.
Apart from the medicines, Ayu Raksha kit also contains gargling medicine, inhalation drops and dhoop to keep the home environment clean. She informs that the kit has to be strictly taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic doctor, who will monitor the patient’s progress. If there are any specific symptoms the doctor will then prescribe the necessary medicine. The kit lasts for two weeks for one patient and is priced Rs 800. It also contains a home isolation chart and dietary guidance which is necessary for an infected condition.
