Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrashekar on Tuesday said Goa had a tremendous scope for startups.
Chandrashekhar, who arrived to Goa on Tuesday afternoon, was speaking to reporters in the presence of MP Vinay Tendulkar, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, GSIDC Vice Chairman Deepak Naik and other BJP leaders who had arrived to welcome him at the Goa Airport.
“Goa has a tremendous scope for IT and start-ups and I have already met IT minister and many senior ministers in the government. We are working very actively to create robust ecosystem in Goa for Startups and Entrepreneurship. The vision of PM Narendra Modi is that every young Indian should get an opportunity to do a job or get into self employment through micro entrepreneurship and this is our main objective and we are working towards this,” said Chandrashekhar.
“I am here on a two-day visit where we will meet party karyakartas and get feedback from them,” said Chandrashekhar.
