Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the 11th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi, themed on Human Capital for Viksit Bharat.
The chief minister stated that Goa, India’s smallest State, is proving that size is no constraint. He further mentioned that from CARES to Samarth, from AI Data Labs to integrative healthcare, Goa is building human capital that serves not just Goa, but the nation.
The chief minister said that NITI Aayog’s continued support remains vital as Goa operationalises Viksit Goa @2037. He has also urged equitable CSS funding on a 90:10 basis recognising Goa’s unique geographical and demographic realities.
