The 10th, 11th and 12th edition of Goa State Film Festival 2025 will be inaugurated by Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa and Delilah Lobo, MLA, Siolim Constituency and Vice Chairman of ESG on August 14 at 3.30 pm at INOX screen 1, Panaji.
Movie screenings will take place in Maquinez palace theatre, Panaji and Inox, Panaji. With 21 awards in feature film section and 7 awards in non feature section, these awards sees competition from 19 feature films and 4 non feature films.
The festival also includes workshops and masterclasses by renowned film personalities like Neelaabh Kaul, Pankaj Saxena, veteran actor Kanwarjit Paintal and Chitah Yajnesh Shetty.
The winners of the 48 hours Short film competition will be announced on August 14.
Varsha Usgaonkar, the renowed Actress, Singer, Model and Social Worker born in Goa and who has contributed to Hindi, Marathi and Konkani cinema will be honoured with the lifetime achievement award this year. This will be presented to her during the award ceremony on Sunday, August 17.
There will also be food court and handicraft stalls at INOX courtyard from 14th to 17th August 2025.
