Goa’s Food & Hospitality expo begins

The 4th edition of the Goa Food & Hospitality Expo,Goa’s biggest exhibition on hotel & restaurant equipment and supplies which is currently going on at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim, organised by Media Promotions Pvt Ltd, will be open till September 23, from 10.30 am to 7 pm.
This exhibition is one of the biggest in the country due to the number of stalls and the national and international brands which have showcased their brands for the first in India.
The expo was inaugurated by the Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar, in the presence of guest of honour CMD of Alcon Victor Group, Victor Albuquerque, president of Travel & Tourism Association of Goa, Savio Messias, president of Goa Hotels & Restaurants Association, Gaurish Dhond, vice president of Travel & Tourism Association of Goa, Guitry Velho, president of Culinary Forum of Goa, Ranjeet Pandey, GM of Vivanta by Taj Jaikant Shroff, GM of Planet Hollywood Anand Chaterjee, GM of Hotel Fidalgo Tapas De, GM of The Park Calangute Saurabh Khanna and directors of Media Promotions Pvt Ltd Kedar Dhume and Clive Sequeira.
Following the inauguration, the guests went around the stalls and expressed keen interest in the exhibits. The special attractions of the exhibition includes display of kitchen and bakery equipment, exclusive cutlery & crockery, food & bakery products, bed & bathroom linen, refrigeration equipment & industrial dish-washers, IT software systems, communication & security systems, furniture, fixtures & interior decor, sound & lighting solutions, ousekeeping equipment & hygiene products, water & waste management systems and many more products connected to the food & hospitality industry, some of which are displayed in Goa for the first time. There are 100 plus companies showcasing over 500 products including national and international brands.
Speaking about the Goa Food & Hospitality Expo, Director, Media Promotions Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Clive Sequeira, said, “Those who are in the business of running of a resort, hotel, restaurant, spa, salon, casino, cafe, bakery, fast food joint, pub, club, shack, catering business or anything similar, should take advantage of this exhibition. The Goa Food & Hospitality Expo has been scheduled this month, as during this time most of the hotels take up renovation activities besides gearing up for the season.”
