When brought to his notice that some MLAs are planning to go to court over government’s move to pay higher rates to the companies to purchase LED bulbs, Godinho said, “The government wants to supply good quality LED bulbs for the benefit of the people. Online sale of similar bulbs are cheap, but there is no guarantee.”
He advised the recipients not to create a rush for the bulbs. “These will be distributed in other parts of the constituency till June 17 and every household will get their share,” the MLA mentioned.
Godinho reiterated the BJP government’s help to carry out developmental works in Dabolim despite he being in the opposition. “That’s the reason I will always be with the BJP government in future,” he said.
