The Maina Curtorim police have registered a case of theft after unknown persons recently burgled the house of Constancio Antonio Menezes, a resident of Curtorim.
In his complaint, Constancio informed the police that some unknown persons effected entry into the house by breaking open a window.
They then decamped with gold ornaments worth around Rs 1.90 lakh.
Investigations in the case are currently underway by the Police.
