MARGAO: Cuncolim police have registered a theft case against a security guard and his friend in connection with the theft of construction material worth Rs 11 lakh from a factory at the Cuncolim Industrial Estate. The police registered an FIR against security guard Ratan Kumar, a native of Odisha, based on a complaint lodged by factory owner Pravin Kakode. In his complaint, Kakode alleged that the duo, acting with a common intention, stole construction material stored in the storeroom. Police are investigating the case.
