Stepping up its opposition to the proposed IIT at Shel-Melauli, the Guleli panchayat on Tuesday refused to issue an NOC for the IIT compound.

The decision was taken after all seven members were present at a special meeting in the panchayat office.

Crimes against women in Goa declines, but probe in grey area

PANAJI As per the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) report, this year there has been less number of crimes committed against women in Goa as compared to the figures recorded in the last three years.
