A multi-vehicle collision was reported on Tuesday morning on the Calapor flyover in Santa Cruz involving five vehicles, including a KTC electric bus that had office goers, students, and other passengers.
The accident, attributed to the sudden appearance of stray cattle, occurred when a scooterist abruptly applied brakes to prevent it from hitting the cattle.
The other vehicles -- KTC EV bus, rickshaw pick-up, Ritz, Brezza, and Ford EcoSport, collided with each other as the vehicle “ behind the scooter - stopped to avoid hitting the scooterist.
Although no casualties were reported, some occupants sustained minor injuries. The vehicles were also damaged in the accident that was reported around 8:15 am.
