PONDA: Two rear tyres of a moving truck proceeding from Anmod Ghat caught fire near the Mollem check post on Tuesday night.
A Collem police team on guard at the Mollem check post rushed to control the fire by using water from the forest department tankers, thereby preventing further damage to the truck.
Locals have appreciated the quick action of the police team in preventing the truck from complete damage.
