The Higher Secondary Schools Certificate (HSSC) Examination results have already been declared and students are gearing up to pursue higher education in their respective field. The Goan speaks to some of the students who have managed to score more than 90 per cent in their streams to find out their future plans

At first instance, I want to pursue a career in medicine, but some of my teachers are of of the opinion that I could even join fields in medical research or bio-technology.

But if I take up medicine, I would definitely like to become a neuro-surgeon.

I would like to pursue honours degree in English literature.

Additionally, I had applied for further studies at two different universities in the UK.

Though I have not taken a final call on what to take up, I would definitely like to get into the field of teaching or get into fiction writing in the future.

Physiotherapy camp at MapusaMAPUSA: Dr Prachi’s Physiotherapy & Sports Rehab Centre will conduct a physiotherapy camp on May 15, from 9 am to noon and 3 pm to 6 pm at Dr Tar’s Polyclinic, opposite Duler Football Ground in Mapusa. There will be free consultation and first treatment session on the occasion.
