The Indian Medical Association, Goa state recently held its 27th annual GIMACON conference at Cidade De Goa. The conference was organised by IMA Tiswadi and was inaugurated by Dy CM Francis D'Souza. The chief guest for the pre-conference CME was Dr Sanjeev Dalvi, Director, DHS.
The theme for this year's event was 'Serve Society and embrace humanity' which emphasised the importance by breaking the shackles of clinic-based practice and moving on to community-based service.
The conference was attended by more than 600 specialist and super specialist doctors from prominent hospitals and clinics in the state.
