World Tourism Day was recently celebrated at Big Foot in Loutolim, with a special focus on ‘garbage downsizing’. The staff and some villagers went around cleaning the village square with a slogan 'Randomly selected visitors to Ancestral Goa were gifted a fridge magnet bearing the message of 'garbage downsizing'. Stress was laid upon garbage segregation at various points around the premises. Diagrams and practical demonstrations were also arranged to educate guests, guides and drivers alike.
