An inoperative locker for the last 21 years has come under the lens of the Borda branch of the Goa State Cooperative Bank.
In fact, the Bank Branch Manager has issued a Break Open Notice on the joint locker holders, giving them three-month notice to surrender the locker or threatened to break open the locker.
“If within 90 days from the date of the notice, the locker is not surrendered and the key of the locker is not returned, we will proceed to break open the locker at 3 pm on August 12, 2024,” the bank notice stated, adding that the joint locker holders may remain present to witness the inventory of the contents of the locker.
