The Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Goa will organize ‘Petul’, a children’s song and dance programme in association with Shri Dev Bodgeshwar Devasthan on February 28.
The programme will begin at 4 pm in the main hall of Sri Dev Bodgeshwar Temple in Mapusa.
Social worker and teacher Ms Sulakshana Sawant will be the chief guest at the event while the President of the Goa Konkani Academy Arun Sakhardande, administrator of St Xavier’s College, Fr Antonio Salema and LIC advisor Pradeep Joshi will also be the guests of honour.
Students from various schools such as Aastha’s Anand Niketan – Special School for Children with Disabilities, Blooming Dale Primary School, St. Mary’s Convent High School, Shri Ganesh Vidya Mandir, Siddhakala Dance Institute, Dnyanprassarak Vidyalaya, Saraswat Vidyalaya High School, St Anthony High School, St Britto High School, Saraswat Vidyalaya Primary School, Nirbhay Bhava, Government Primary School Shelpem and GS Amonkar Vidya Mandir will perform dances to the tunes of Shani Masti launched by Konkani Bhasha Mandal.
The Bardez Konkani Asmitay Kendra and St Xavier’s College have extended their cooperation in organizing the event.
