Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on Sunday evening for a three-day visit aimed at strengthening the party’s organisation and fine-tuning its strategy for the 2027 Assembly elections.
Soon after his arrival, Kejriwal said AAP’s support base in Goa was growing as people were disillusioned with both the BJP and Congress.
He expressed confidence that the party would emerge as a credible political alternative.
During his visit, Kejriwal is expected to hold consultations with party leaders, office-bearers and grassroots volunteers to assess organisational strengths and weaknesses, strengthen booth-level networks and identify key campaign issues.
The discussions are also expected to review the party’s electoral strategy following the perceived failure of its ‘Goa First’ alliance with the Goa Forward Party.
AAP is likely to focus on governance, employment, education and rising living costs. Kejriwal is expected to interact with volunteers across constituencies and address a press conference on Tuesday before concluding his visit.
