Kejriwal's arrest politically motivated: Jose Philip

VASCO
The NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) State President Jose Philip D’Souza on Friday claimed the arrest of Delhi Chief minister and Aam Admi Party President Arvind Kejriwal was politically motivated, adding that BJP had been using central agencies like ED and CBI to suppress opposition.

"I am neither giving him a clean chit nor saying that he is corrupt but his arrest looks to be politically motivated. It is seen recently that the BJP has been using the central agencies like ED or CBI against any person making any noise against the ruling party and this looks to be the same case because Kejriwal has been very vocal against the BJP,” D’Souza tolf reporters.

“This has now become BJP’s habit to suppress the opposition using these forces because even NCP leaders faced similar actions against them in the past. However surprisingly, the moment the NCP party was divided and these same leaders joined the BJP, they turned out to be clean and the pressure of the ED and CBI disappeared into thin air.”
